2025 Isuzu dmax - Cannot input ECU number

Post by Bent80 »

Hi all.

First time here. I believe that Forscan should work with my vehicle (effectively rebadged Mazda BT-50), but the application doesn't recognise the ECU automatically, nor does it accept the ECU number when entered manually.

I suspect that this is likely due to a change of ECU manufacturer - the part number is not in the "Bosch" xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx numeral and letter format, but one complete 10 digit number.

I'm using the Vgate vLinker OBD2 adaptor.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, if it's a ford Mazda vehicle then i think it should work.
There aren't a load of them on here but sure i saw folks talking about the same car recently on here somewhere.
There will likely be a need to do something like what you've tried already. There will be some detail you can give it which will make it recognise it. Sorry i cant be of more help.
Although you may wanna try searching bt50 on here as there probably isn't millions of posts on them.

Depends, if it's Mazda protocol then forscan also does Mazda.
