Alright team, I'm exhausted after a long day of troubleshooting and clearing DTC codes so I am finally here.
I recently upgraded my 2016 Ford Explorer Limited from Sync2 to Sync3. I was able to get 99% of everything up and running correctly after popping it to FORScan and changing some settings in the As Built. (note that last year I had updated my instrument cluster from the stock IPC Type 2 to the IPC Type 3 as seen in the Platinum).
Again, everything is up and running correctly EXCEPT my front camera. I cleared about 5 DTCs through changing some settings and have ensured that the front cameras are enabled in FORScan. Here is where I am though. I seem to be having a "Front Camera Malfunction" as indicated on the dash and when in drive standing still my camera button on the console doesn't switch to the front camera (it will change to split view from rear camera when in reverse).
