Well this is bizarre
So I was leaving the house for work this morning, and I hit a pothole in the driveway as I do every day (I live on a farm) and the RCM flipped out on me. The light blinks with a code of 54. Here’s the kicker, there’s a code for the control module configuration that I’ve never seen before. Apparently it lost its programming or something, and there are no associated codes in any other module on the MS or HS CAN network. This is gonna be a fun little gremlin to sort out. For reference, I have a 2012 PX1 Ranger. I’m gonna dive into it after work, but I wanted to get a head start on it by asking if anyone here has ever come across an anomaly like this before and what anyone may have been able to do through FORScan to correct it. Thanks in advance to anyone who has some advice!

Sounds like you may have triggered a crash sensor with the pothole maybe? Either that or upset one of the systems plug socket connections for example under the seat. Usually yellow plugs.

That’s my thought as well. The connector got jostled just enough to break connection then trip the module when it reset itself. I ended up having to reload the module parameters, but it’s all good now.
