2003 Transit Forscan Connection problem
I have a 2003 Transit with the 2.4 engine and VP30 fuel pump. I have fitted a new fuel pump and need to initialise the pump in order to start the vehicle. Unfortunately ,I cant establish communication with the vehicle using Forscan. I am using my Zenith scan tool as a J2534 pass through. Forscan recognizes the Zenith, but when trying to connect to the vehicle, it comes up with connection failure please check the ignition is on etc. But, I can connect to the vehicle with the Zenith as a scan tool, no problem, except the Zenith doesn't have the function I need. I tried the Forscan with the Zenith, J2534 pass through, on a 2012 Ford Ranger, connected no problem at all. Any assistance on connection would be greatly appreciated.
