Hello Friends..
I hope you are doing well.
I am a FORScan user working on a 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid.
A few months ago, I performed a BECM firmware update (flash) using FORScan.
After that, the vehicle’s behavior changed:
At every startup, the hybrid system starts with the ICE (gasoline engine) instead of EV mode
SoC always shows 33% at the beginning of each day, then rises quickly to ~44% after a few minutes of driving
No DTCs are present in BECM, HPCM, PCM or DC-DC modules
Fuel economy and EV performance during driving are still excellent
HV battery cells are fully balanced and healthy
My understanding is that after updating the BECM calibration, the system requires HV Battery Initialization / SoC Relearn to synchronize SoC and restore EV startup logic.
However, in Service Functions, I only see:
“BECM – Module Reboot” and there is no option for:
SoC Relearn
High-Voltage Battery Initialization
** My Question: Does FORScan currently support SoC Relearn or HV Battery Initialization for this model (Lincoln MKZ Hybrid 2013) — and if yes, how can I access these functions?
