Hello everyone,
I have a question. I want to replace the BCM in my 2015 Ford Focus Mk3 facelift. My original BCM works, so I can copy the asbuild and configuration. But will I be able to program keys in a second, used one? I have standard, mechanical keys with buttons; I don't have keyless entry. Forscan shows PATS.
How long will it take for me to revert to the old BCM if something goes wrong? Until I start erasing the keys? Or before that, after I reset the ABS and IPC?
Is there any way I can check if I can program the keys?
Finally, I need new, clean keys or I can program my old original keys to the replaced BCM?
Thank you.

Re: Replacing BCM Ford Focus MK3 Lift 2015
I would strongly recommend you do not replace the BCM unless you are fixing a problem. There are no instructions for BCM or PCM replacement and many have posted here that these replacements don't work.
PATS may be available for your model year. You must read the long forum posts about PATS to understand what you are getting into.
