Speed sign recognition feature in Ford Mustang Dark Horse

Post by ShaneH4177 »

Hi there all. I’ve looked but unable to find any information to answer this. My friend, we are in Australia, has a 2025 Mustang Dark Horse and although the Adaptive Cruise Control works it does not include the Speed Sign Recognition option and during driving using the adaptive cruise control his car does not change speeds to match speed signs. He is really annoyed because my 2024 Ranger does have this feature and has an option in the Driver Assistance menu to turn it on or off. His Dark Horse does not display any option to for speed sign recognition at all. I found a video from a US based driver showing the speed sign recognition feature working perfectly.
Can anyone help with advice on how to activate the speed sign recognition feature on a Mustang Dark Horse using ForScan. Any other Australian Dark Horse owners noticed the same problem; have you fixed it and how. My friend has spoken to the Ford dealership and they have no idea at all as to what is wrong and why the speed sign recognition doesn’t work.

Please sent the vehicle profile to wallop_pumpkin_5z@icloud.com
I will load it up & see if I can find a solution.
To locate the vehicle profile, paste this into the taskbar search at the bottom of the screen
%appdata%\FORScan\vehicles
It will take you directly to the FORScan vehicle profile

thanks oldtinford. I don't have access to my friend's Mustang at the moment and won't see him, or the Mustang, for several weeks as he lives interstate. When I see him again I will access the information and send it through. Cheers mate.

That's not a problem. I'm CW NSW if that might be of any help to your friend.
