Hello everyone,
I have a 2014 Ford New Fiesta Titanium with the PowerShift DCT, and I’m experiencing a strange behavior during gear changes.
When shifting from 3rd to 4th gear, the transmission sometimes misses the engagement, makes a brief grinding/scraping noise, and then engages 4th gear correctly right after.
Aside from this issue, the transmission works normally, with no harsh shifts, no excessive slipping, and no problems in other gears.
I would like to know:
If anyone has experienced a similar issue
If this could be related to clutch actuators, clutch wear, TCM adaptive learning, or software calibration
If there is any relearn, calibration, or adaptation procedure that can be performed using FORScan (clutch touch point relearn, shift drum calibration, etc.)
Which live data PIDs would be best to monitor to diagnose this condition
Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
