Hey everyone,
My Car: Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection
unfortunately I’m having ongoing problems with the GPF on my Ford Focus 1.0 petrol. Almost every time I start the car, I get a message saying that a regeneration drive is required.
The problem is that, no matter what I do, the regeneration never seems to complete successfully. After reading a bit online, I thought I could check or trigger it manually using FORScan and an adapter.
Today my VLink adapter from Amazon arrived. It connects fine and FORScan is working, but after searching for more than two hours I still can’t find any GPF/DPF-related data or service functions. Since this is a petrol engine, I assume it should show up as GPF.
As soon as I start the car and get the regeneration message, I would expect to see something related to the GPF in FORScan, but I don’t.
Has anyone had the same issue or knows how to manually start a GPF regeneration with FORScan? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
