I am not sure I understand why you have a need to change or delete the Hardware ID as it is an ID that is generated by Microsoft Windows and the computer the copy of Windows is installed on not FORScan but FORScan uses this ID for Licencing!

As Downloaded and installed FORScan has a standard license that you would have agreed to when you clicked the agree button during the FORScan install! That agreement allows for using FORScan for basic DTC reads and clears and basic Diagnostics work!

To answer your above question you would have obtain a FORScan extended license which is of two types, Free trial extended license and Paid Extended license which both use the above Hardware ID to identify the computer and FORScan install and tie the license to only that computer and FORScan Install!

Fee-trials last for 60 days(Two Months) and are not transferable and are obtained and instaled by following the instructions at this link: https://forscan.org/support/show_conten ... t_2m_trial
Free trials allow some programming such as Module Configuration and AsBuilt Format configuration and Central configuration in engineering mode on vehicles that have C.C.!

Paid FORScan Licenses last for one year allow all Programming Such as Module install(2.4.xx only) and PATS Key programming on vehicles it is available for!
The One year Paid license can be transferred to another computer if the license is revoked/uninstalled using the uninstall button(Available since FORScan version 2.3.69/2.4.21 without contacting support)!
