No dont believe there is as all models have auto stop start as standard, even if you didnt have the button it wouldnt stop the stop/start from working you just wouldnt be able to cancel it, which is useful when waiting to pull out of a junction, you dont want engine cutting out when waiting for a gap in traffic, youd be sat there all day as by time youd pressed clutch selected 1st gear started car the gap would have gone!

Hi Graham,
I asked because my engine (1.1l TI-VCT) doesn't have start/stop by default. So the switch in the center console needs to have the park assist button / Traction switch / and eco switch.
But if I got you right there is no button for that case?
Or maybe I bought the switches with Start/Stop and this button is then a "dead" button without a DTC

Thats strange is it a UK model? The Fiesta i had was also a 1.1 Zetec model and that came with auto/stop start as standard, also when doing the retrofits the vins of cars i used also had this feature as standard according to ETIS.
They have this in order to meet the tight emmision rules and published MPG figures, without the feature they would not meet them or in britain the tax bracket.

It is a German model (Trend/70Hp) but the trend version should be identical to the zetec version in Uk.
In etis are 3 Different versions of the 1.1l Duratec (70/75/85HP). All other parameters are completely identical I believe (max rpm/compression/stroke etc.).
Maybe they only don't fit the switch in Germany and you can retrofit start stop if you want / or even can set the engine to the 85hp map? Would be interesting to know.

Ah Ok, think in Uk they only do the 1.1 85bhp model, least thats what mine was, yes the newer Trend models have also superceded the old Zetec models here too.
I guess Ford have diff specs for diff countries.
That said if they come without the switch normally in Germany you would expect to be able to obtain an active park one without the stop/start, i would check with a Ford dealership, who have latest parts catalogue. There are lots of options listed.

Hi, I'm a bit confused with the numbers for the wiring looms for the back.

H1BT-15K868-ABC looks like it has only connectors for four sensors. But from what I understood you need 6 to enable active park assist.

Also do you have any knowledge about where I can source connectors or even the whole cable from in Europe for the connection from the module in the back to the front?

I don’t know for your car but many other models have Active park assist with/without perpendicular ASSP.

Other models may well work without the side sensors but the Mk8 Fiesta and Focus Mk4 need 12 sensors 6 front 6 rear the side sensors are needed to determine car distance from kerb etc it will not work without. Even if you can get the front and rear looms as parts, its unlikely that your existing body loom will have the extra wires in place. If youre considering doing this you need to make up your own looms or it becomes un cost effective. Theres an awful lot more to this then changing a few settings. Suggest you read my retrofit guide which has all part numbers needed.
Ali express sell most connectors, however in the uk the postage and import1 duty make it expensive. I tend to get an old loom from scrapyard for a few £s snd strip it for wires and connectors as needed, its cheapest way, if you have the ability to do so.

Great write up but i have a query, i'm looking for a sensor mount bracket that fits the HU5T-15C868-AAW sensor, i'm not looking for those big flat type ones that go on the back of the bumper i need the round ones that you have to drill a hole in the bumper to fit and then the sensor clips into that.

I've attached a picture of a TRANSIT one for reference, you can see the mounting face is straight, not angled, the HU5T sensors are 22mm and not sure if transit ones will be bigger or not. (couldn't attach photo ! ) part no is Sensor Bracket-2414430 ( transit 2019 model )

anyone got any ideas?
