Its looks like bcm won't look for the switch.
I think first we need to find a way to see in the cluster "hood open".
I tried turn on all of the security options still bcm wont look for hood switch and I also turned on hood ajar in ipc but still no hood message on dash

Instrument cluster gets hood switch info from BCM on HS2
Sounds like your BCM doesn't have the hardware to monitor hood switch
Only other thing you can do is find another F250 with remote start & read asbuilt data to compare

Your 100% that there's a BN wire at C2280F at the BCM & it grounds & opens at the BCM with hood open & closed?
