Hello,
I'm using the Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB adapter and Forscan v2.3.68 with a one-year license for my Tourneo Courier 2025.
The vehicle is recognized without any problems, and I can write to all modules except the IPC, where I get a write error every time and access is denied.
Do I need a newer version of Forscan, or am I doing something else wrong?
I simply want to finally disable as much of the chimes as possible

Re: Writing Error on IPC
Hi, did you get any update on this? I have the same issue trying to update country code in the TCU of a UAE Ford Mustang 2024 I shipped to Europe.
Re: Writing Error on IPC
Should be using ODBlink EX adapter when writing firmware. Not that others won't work but they tend to be less stable and reliable, not something you want when writing to modules. I'd recommend using the FORScan recommended adapter for this. Would help narrow down any issues. Also make sure battery charger is on (correctly) when writing to ensure modules stay awake and battery saver doesn't turn on. Also change laptop power settings so the laptop doesn't go to sleep mid write. Writing to some modules can take over an hour to complete so these steps are important. Even changing as-build data you should be using approved adapters, the wireless versions like the MX+ work well for this but are more costly.

Hello Trennschleifer, I too am having this issue with 12/25 built Bronco trucks. Getting "Gain security access failed - security key is wrong" error and service procedure interrupted.
I have tried updating to the beta software v2.4.22 which unfortunately did not help. Same as you are describing. Only occurs with IPC module. All others will write.
Any update on your issue?

If you have a paid subscription, contact Forscan. This may be a problem with the program.
