Re: How to program Central Configuration using FORScan
Hi Lollapalooza, I have read your guide here and am trying to do the same thing to my 2012 fiesta. Is it normal for the as built file to contain so little data as per picture??

Sorry, I have no idea.
But I guess it's better if you modify central config directly with ForScan

Re: How to program Central Configuration using FORScan
thank you for quick reply, I have found out why, I put WFOGXXGAJGBM51870, instead of WF0GXXGAJGBM51870

With the lock/unlock button you mean the button on the dashboard? I have done the same you did in CC, and indeed it still doesn't work although it's active in the CC!!! (I'm talking about a Ford Fiesta MK7 2010) Meanwhile tried this video I found on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gctkjQDgoAU IT WORKS !!!FORScan wrote:lollapalooza wrote: I confirm that it was changed ok. I tried to re-read the config, and the "automatic locking by speed" was enabled.
Anyway I found a solution in a Ford Fiesta forum: after modyfing the central configuration, I had to follow a procedure, that enabled auto-lock.
Enter the car and close the door. Ignition off.
- Turn on ignition (but not the engine), and press the "lock/unlock" button 3 times.
- Turn off ignition, and press the "lock/unlock" button 3 times.
- Turn on ignition. Press "lock/unlock" button once.
- Turn off ignition.
After that, auto locking works, and I can hear the door locking after maybe 5 Km/h.

Re: How to program Central Configuration using FORScan
Hi Guys
I've got a 2012 Ranger that needs the PCM replaced. Am I able to copy the existing data on to the new one without worrying about breaking the PATS link?
I'm not going to be able to program the keys again right?

Re: How to program Central Configuration using FORScan
Hi all!
I have Mondeo Mk3 2001 2.0 Duratorq, i have been trying to get the "current fuel consumption" from the IC on.
I have succesfully changed the option, but still only getting the average consumption. If i check again the option is still saved but it doesn't work.
Allmost all other options i change work, example the door lock when driving, even the ESP logo will light up in the dash.
Any help appreciated. My elm is standard usb, very old, v.1.3, not modded

Re: How to program Central Configuration using FORScan
Unfortunately it depends on software version of IC if the current fuel consumption option is supported or not.
You need to replace whole IC to get this working. It´s rarely known which version supports it. Most of facelift IC should. Some facelift IC may miss the option like when car is in minimum configuration ("Trend" interior). Also mileage can not be transferred / changed on IC so you lose your current mileage if you change IC.
It´s the same with some options in the GEM. Some options are supported by facelift GEM only. To get these work GEM needs to be replaced...
Some options even seem to be hardware depending like theft protection.
