1.6 TDCI no boost

Hi,

I have a Focus 1.6 TDCi which has no power at all. The power is linear and the turbo doesn't kick in. No DTC is stored. I did some logs with Forscan and as the engine revs the MAF value is changing normally and consistently. When I am revving the engine the MAP value doesn't increase and stays at 1 bar.

Is this a problem with the boost solenoid? There is no smoke and no turbo boost leak because I cannot hear any leak noise.

I have exactly the same problem. Not yet solved. I see it´s the same motor than you, so please if you solve it, tell me.

I have changed fuel filter and 2 glow plugs. But it´s a mistery what is happening here.

I found a tiny hole in the intercooling piping. You need to remove all piping from turbo to intercooler to intake manifold and look for a tiny cut or hole!

One more question. Having a tiny hole, ¿didn´t you have black smoke in the exhaust???

I had the same problem. It was from the pipe who goes into the solenoid valve.
