Hi
I've just found this program after getting an F-super 2 and I'm finding it better than my older Bluetooth adapter and Torque on my phone. After reading on here about various adapters I've probably spend my money on nothing I didn't have already but that's life.
I've managed to get some extra codes from my MK7 2.4 TDCi transit ECU and one of them is P062B which seems to be related to the PCM and pump learn.
I'm about to put a new EGR valve on to help with some MAF errors and the van is booked into Ford for a PCM update next week then I will hopefully have more idea of my problem (power loss) but if I need to change the pressure control valve and/or pressure relief valve I'll need to do a pump learn, so can Forscan do a pump learn and counter reset on the Transit?
Thanks
Steve
Transit pump learn, counter reset
Re: Transit pump learn, counter reset
Reliev Valve counters reset are available in FORScan. Fuel Pump learn is not, but we are going to implement it shortly as discussed here:

Hi
That sounds good.
I'm not sure if the van will be put through this process at the dealer when they do the PCM update on Wednesday but I'm mainly wanting the update to eliminate that and I'm told that it may give better fault codes?

Re: Transit pump learn, counter reset
Pump learn and pilot on transit mk7 successful , very impressed with FORScan , but it keeps saying prv counter reset unsupported when I initiate it .. heard elsewhere of success doing this so not sure why mine is failing .
Would it fail it the counter was at 0 already ? As I can't find figures on whether it has blown before or not ?
Any help appreciated

Yes pump learn and then do a pilot learn as well, I've heard people managed counter reset with FORScan but mine says unsupported ... maybe a new bug or something , not sure but hoping FORScan staff may elaborateBowber wrote:Hi

Re: Transit pump learn, counter reset
Sorry to dig this old one up- I note Gasman experienced success and I'm keen to use my FORSCAN to good effect on the school minibus.
We are a small special school, money is really tight and I used to work in the trade before I trained as a teacher.
The Vehicle in question is a 2006.5 2.4L Transit minibus. Forscan tells me that we have P062b as a fault code. It would seem the pump needs to be re calibrated. How do I do this with FORSCAN?
All advice gratefully accepted.

Re: Transit pump learn, counter reset
Many apologies for asking such a stupid question...
I've seen the function in FORSCAN.
I will post up the results.

How did you go with your fuel pump relearn ,
I need to do this to my van ,but I think my problems are far greater than a fuel pump relearn I just replaced to suction control valve
