Fuel Injector correction factors before and after the procedure are the same. See attached image. The procedure apparently stuck indefinitely at 0% but I think it was ended. I had to stop it anyway.
Sorry, we don't quite understand. This is how the successful run of the "Reset pilot injection quantity learned values" should look like:

If it looks otherwise, please email us internal FORcan logs from your vehicle (if possible), thanks.

Wow, what a finding! Thanks for this post.

Odd thing is that we have not heard about this procedure... We will investigate it. By the way, can you please also email us internal FORScan logs from your vehicle? Instruction is available on the Contact Us page. Thank in advance!

The information was on his screen while the live learning values were shown for all 4 injectors. I red it several times during the "greening" process and write myself an SMS just to be sure is accurate.
You asked me about details....i gave you details ☺.

I will connect again with forscan and revert, not sure where you take the logs from but i will find it (never been interested )

Cheers

I heard before of this procedure (on an Italian forum of Focus MK3) but now I see it's true.

A big thanks mishueen for the detailed info, tonight ( I need free highway) I will make a try.

I understand that the Focus after the reset enter in a special state, mine kept this state for 2 days and when the internal procedure failed (I was driving normally) a backup setup was restored.

I have a question: the SPEED at which I have to raise up to 2500rpm is full throttle? Pedal down full? Or is not important?

No- it was not written full throttle . He did it on 3rd gear and raised up to 2500rpm only -he didn't kill my car because likely i would kill him :) ;not sure if he was pressing the pedal to ground but i doubt. As additional info the engine was HOT when he proceeded so make sure your is also warm. You cand do it in any gear greater than 3rd just make sure raise up to 2500 sharp and let it down to pass below 1500 and then raise again. The point is to ensure deceleration from 2500 to 1500 and repeat ....forever . Just to be sure i would do it for 20km as it was written on the procedure page....or by time ,more than 20-30 min.
As i said previously he underlined several times that is about deceleration not acceleration thus is illogical to raise full throttle.

Let me know your fuel consumption after that , i'm dying here curious. Mine went back from 6.2 -7l/100km at 110kmph to 4.9-5.3l / 100km at same speed and no rattle.

And it is a SUCCESS!

Performed "Reset all adaptation", then
the exact procedure, in 5th gear, took 45' to remove the loud "rattle" , little by little. Encuraged by results, I spent others 45' without stop the engine (but I had to change gear in order to exit and re-enter highway) and finally in the end also the little "tic" of the injectors went away.
Now the engine is music.
I'm sure average consumption will drop down, in the first 10km after the procedure I see 18km/l, raising up...

Really thanks again guys.

@edit:
btw: I can imagine Forscan in the future, display the current level of "learned value", that 0 to 7 mishueen said before... it will be a great feature :D

;) glad you're listening the "engine music again". You know what..? Reading your post i beleive i recall also having the little tick on high rpm and that indeed went away during driving ,after leaving the dealer.

Forscan -i belive it will be usefull to add this info as popup procedure when mk3 tdci owners perform clear injectors learned values or all adaptations reset.

Cheers

We would prefer to implement the learning procedure itself. However, if we are unable for some reason, we will most likely add this infromation in a popup before return the Reset All Adaptations function back.

Hello all,

Special thanks to Forscan, ForcusMK3, Mishueen for this amazing threat.

I tried the elm327 reader yesterday with my 2012 Grand C-max 1.6 tdci titanium X. The main DTC error codes found are DFP shoot clogging that make the check engine light came up since last couple of weeks.

I successfully resetted all DTC error codes on the dashboard using FORSCAN version 2.1.2 (i will double check later) .

After reset, I also experienced the following (similar to what FocusMK3 already mentioned beginning this thread) :
- The RPM is not stable.
- It was hard to start the engine (sometime I had to start the car 2 or 3 times) especially at cold start.
- The acceleration was not as smooth at before.
- The fuel consumption was very high. 0,7l/h to 0,8l/h when idling.
- it was very noisy, exactly rattling during acceleration and gear changes.

I was thinking of send the car to Ford service ASAP until reading this thread.

Injector learning process:

I decided to start the injector learning values on highway right in the night (23:00) as Mishueen advised and below are results:
After 30 mins, I noticed the better perfomance in every further km :-), at the end of the test, here are the findings:
- No error codes in the dashboard.
- The RPM went back to normal condition.
- Start at once like before even at cold start.
- Acceleration was smooth again.
- Fuel consumption went back to normal, maybe better, 0,3 l/h when idling, even better than before 0,4l/h.

Now the only problem is that the dpf problems may be still remained and need to be force regenerated dispite the fact that all DTC error codes was cleared and no faulty code show on the dashboard.

May I ask you to assist:

- Can Forscan confirm if static dpf regeneration function available for 2012 Grand C-max 1.6 tdci available on the latest forscan app? I could not find it anywhere.

- Should I bring the car to Ford for force dpf regeneration. Actually I already bought Wynn's dpf additive which help to burn shoots at lower temperature, should I use it during a long run end of this week or better to wait for the new release of Forscan that support 2012 Grand C-max 1.6 tdci.I am living in France.

- Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thank you all again for this amazing instructions and sorry for my bad English that sometimes confusing.

All the best to everyones.

No, DPF functions are not implemented for this model (as well as for some other new models), we will do it in one of the next versions.
