2017 F250 Foglamp enable

Hi all, I have a 2017 Ford F250 that did not come with fog lamps , I have replaced the switch with a new one that contains the fog lamp switch but I don't think the bcm is coded correctly for it to operate as I do not get an indicator on the dash and the harness does not send power. What is my best course of action to get this working, should I try to get as built data from another vehicle and if so what would I need to look for? If this can be done though a code change using forscan how would I go about it? I have a legal IDS and VCM II to use and will get other needed adaptors if this will not work. Thanks for any help!
