Second hand instrument cluster code

Hi i am trying to get to the bottom of what I need to do when I get my obd adapter I have 2007 ford focus 1.6 petrol and have ordered the matching ic 4m5t-1089-fs as mine has had a major spike and is a complete failure was sent away to be repaired but was not possible I have been told I will need abd file but where do I get this from in the UK I can not download from original cluster as the software was curupt

Any info would be a major help

Sorry about the long delay, you can download your instrument cluster data directly from Ford using your VIN.

www.motorcraftservice.com, It will ask for your country, near as I can tell that's just for language choices, select free resources, then quick guides and finally module build data (as built).

Enter your vin and submit to get the information you require.
