Hi, folks. I'm not sure the proper terminology so please forgive me.
I've downloaded Forscan and can connect to my 2013 Explorer without an issue. I am using a wifi ODBI connector and it does not have the CAN switch. I can see all the modules though.
My question is this... When trying to program certain features (Dark Car, Secure Idel, ETC) the locations listed in the master lists and data sheets does not correspond to the locations in my FORSCAN list. For example, most data lists have the double honk delete listed as 726-42-01 and mine was at 726-16-01. I only found this by Digging through the forum where one person listed this. Is the issue my ODBI reader, or an older build in the trucks computer? I would love to be able to play with the functionality of my truck but I can't find the proper locations to change the hex.

This is not an adapter issue. Different models may have different modules, firmware etc. So if you have some option encoding for e.g. 2013 F-150, it doesn't mean it will work 2013 Explorer. You need to look for encodings specific for your car and, ideally, model year

Make sure you are not getting information on 2016-up Explorers.
The 2016 even though it was a "facelift" change, Ford changed the electrical system ALOT. BCM IIRC was one of the modules that was changed.
You need to look at 2011-2015 models.
It appears this has already been covered here:

Wish it was that simple. No one, in my searching, lists the proper location for dark car or secure idle for my model year. I was hoping someone would have the info
