Ford F-250
Ford F-250
I have a 2102 Ford F-250 and was wondering if anybody could walk me through the steps to lower the tire sitting on the tPMS? Also, I added fog lights and a new light switch which came with auto headlights. I was told in order to get the automatic headlights to work, I had to take the truck to the dealership to have them set it on the computer. Does anybody know if I can or how I can do this with forescan?

As far as I'm aware, the TPMS setting cannot be lowered from the original setting, only increased.

Re: Ford F-250
Forscan is limited by the factory IDS limitations for setting tire pressures, that being said you should be able to manually edit the file and update the module to a lower pressure. Personally I have upped my Town Car from 32PSI to 40.
Auto lamp setting should be possible too, but it won't work without the daylight sentinal sensor present with the mandated wiring. If your vehicle came with automatic temp ac you may already have the sensor in place.

Thank you guys for replying. I finally figured it out and it could not have been easier. At least on my truck I had to pick body control module, but not the one That says as built next to it as the other forums say to do. I just selected the regular body control module. Once I did that and hit the play button there were several options with drop-down boxes for tPMS my truck was factory set at 70 front and 80 back. I changed both to 45 from drop down box.
Auto lights there was a selection on/off. I switched it to on and now I have automatic lights.
This could not have been any easier, there was no data to put in, it was all drop downs. I even changed my tire size.
