2017 Super Duty Instrument Cluster Odometer/Hours Adjustment

Post by h20camper »

I want to upgrade my 2.3" cluster to the slightly fancier 4.2" cluster. I have obtained the upgrade cluster from a wrecked salvaged truck. My truck has more mile and hours than the replacement. I need to INCREASE the mileage and hours. Is it possible to do such to the IPC using FORScan? The dealer cannot do it via IDS. I asked them already. Thanks

Sorry to say as it stands Forscan can not do either of those for legal reasons, the same reason the dealership can't.

Ok, thanks for the response. Services on ebay can. Guess I will use one of those.

I thought someone on here had modified their odometer value, and accidentally added like 100,000 miles.

They must have done the calculation incorrect or at the wrong location. If I knew the location, and monitored the values for a few hundred miles, I might be able to figure out the formula.
