retreiving keyless entry codes?
retreiving keyless entry codes?
It would be nice not to have to go to a dealer and pay them to retrieve the original keyless entry code so it can be used or program a new one! Lots of videos on youtube about it but it would be a nice feature of Forscan!

Re: retreiving keyless entry codes?
Just curious, as I know my entry code, but how did you do it?
Re: retreiving keyless entry codes?
If your vehicle is supported there should be an entry for it under service functions.

Re: retreiving keyless entry codes?
Good Day, I have a US version Ford Taurus and I presently do NOT have my Keyless entry code for (second owner). I just got an extended license and looked under the service tab and could not find anything that revealed the keyless entry code. Am I missing something??Alexsha wrote:If your vehicle is supported there should be an entry for it under service functions.
Thanks
Dan..
Re: retreiving keyless entry codes?
Have a 2013 ford fusion trying to find the key entry code wondering how to get it from the forscan, can't find the section it's under when I run the program and help would be appreciated...
Re: retreiving keyless entry codes?
You can read the code from a sticker under a fusebox. There is a small module with a sticker.
All you need is a small mirror, some patience and time. The best way is to use phone to record a video of the mirror. I also had the problem and got my code by this way next I changed it for new code.
If you have a USB inspection camera you can do it easier and faster
