2011 superduty dpf%

Post by ktmrider205 »

I have a 2011 f350 lariat ultimate and have been successful in changing a few features but my main goal was to get the dpf% screen and the ocr. Neither have worked for me. The options show enabled but that didn't change the as-built so I changed the as-built codes others have confirmed and still no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Also I have tried every bambi mode configuration I could find and haven't been successful there either. Factory foglights, stock bulbs. Would love to get this mod to work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all!

i got the bambi mode working on my 2011, but was unsuccessful with the DPF screen.

bambi 726-11-01 ***2 ****

i noticed that when changes are successful, the dash and all interior lights blink. When i tried to enable the DPF screen, only the dash would blink. I would then go back into the ForScan settings and see that the changes i made haven't saved to the truck.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I've tried that exact configuration. But when I try to write it it's goes to 51% the an error message pops up saying incompatible configuration then it ends the session. As for the dpf screen I read the tsb. And it says that for 2011 built before October 2010 the ipc needs to be updated to the latest module configuration to enable the regen and dpf screen. I've not been able to confirm this because my local dealer doesn't know much about programming and as-built stuff. Any ideas about the bambi mod?

I have an 11 as well... My dealer will activate it for anyone but it has to be an 11 built after a certain date to work. It's not in the software prior to that build date to activate.

I deleted mine at 46k so no need for that now...

You're exactly right Jesse the Tsb says that exactly. If built before 11/5/2010 the IC pcm and the trans. module must be reprogrammed and calibrated to latest version. See this link to read actual tsb. https://www.justanswer.com/ford/6n281-f ... w-cab.html

Yes, exactly. I ran into that same issue. My build date is 4 days prior to the new calibration so they couldn't activate it on mine.
I planned to delete soon after bumper to bumper expired so it really wasn't an issue for me in the long run.

Not to highjack your thread but is there a place I go that has a breakdown of where the different systems are located in the can bus so I can make some changes to mine? I'm new to this s/w and trying to figure out how to navigate the list of address it's giving me.

Thanks
