Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering
Has anyone figured out how to add the Climate screen on a '14 Taurus? This one's been evading me. I've been away from the Forscan stuff for a few months, so searching now to see if anyone has determined this yet.

Does it matter if you have the Sony or non-SONY MFT radio for this to work? Mine is non-sonyClockWorK wrote:No TPMS for 2013 as far as I know. Not sure if the IPC or the BCM or some other module is the limiting factor on that one.
I've been meaning to try:
Audio - Enable Equalizer Presets in Sound Menu (Ford Sync 2 (MyFord Touch) Only):
7D0-01-02 (2013+ MY) xxxx xXxx xxxx
0 (Disabled - Default)
8 (Enabled)
I just look at AsBuilt lists for other vehicles (Explorer, Flex, Fusion) and see what might be universal. Like any of the APIM mods for Sync2 should apply to all vehicles with Sync2 as far as I know.
Lets go give it a shot anyway...
EDIT: It worked. Added it to my Non-Sony Sync 2 display, and pressing the buttons does noticeable change audio quality.

I found the 'POP' setting had a nice bass boost.

Yea it does!
And you beat me to it, but yea I tested it on a friend's base stereo and it worked.
I found a Flex spreadsheet this morning and played with it at lunch, got "nav in motion" activated, found a trick for using the Lincoln splash screen, and some other neat stuff.

No, they are wired into the parking light circuit so cannot be separated.tishandian0416 wrote:Is using the led strips for drl possible for the 13 taurus
Drivebright.com makes a kit that will do this. I have had it in my car for 2 years and it works well.

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering
'Nav In Motion' is a change to a region-code. In certain regions (EU, Mexico, whatever), entering a destination while moving is allowed. Probably assuming the passenger is the one doing it.
Enabling 'Nav In Motion' usually results in the loss of Sirius Travel Link live traffic data (i think), but that service requires a subscription anyway.

Re: Ford As Built Data Deciphering
Correct. I did also notice that the navigation turn by turn in my cluster switched from ft to yards, but that doesn't bother me, and I don't pay for Sirius so no loss there.
So I found a comprehensive list of Forscan mods to the Edge, some cool change possibilities but none of them worked for my car. Definitely gave me hope of some other options that I'd like to figure out for the SHO.
