2011 F-250 6.7 CA Smog

Post by BurgerShark »

Anyone had success deactivating their EGR valve with FORScan? I have returned my truck to stock minus the StreeMax Turbo so I can get it smogged in CA but it keeps throwing a code for EGR valve open, air flown too high. We suspect the turbo is the issue, as it is substantially bigger than stock and therefore pulling too much air. I have confirmed the valve is closing, but the learned minimum position is still allowing too much air to flow in. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

If you have an SCT device I can make you a file that might be able to help if you still need it.
