Re: Testing learning functions for Powershift 6DCT450 (MPS6)
I wish I have some spare times.. 2 kids!
I work for a ford dealer, so it's easy for me to revert back if something crash.
Are you talknig about the DSP6? In north america this transmission is called like this.
Mabye I could give a try one night.
I use a VCM2 to communicate.

DPS6 is Powershift 6DCT250 with dry clutches, used on Focus and Fiesta family. Function for DPS6 learning was added to FORScan 3+ years ago:
https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1672
So it doesn't require a beta testing.
MPS6 is Powershift 6DCT450 with wet clutches, used in European models: Mondeo, Galaxy, S-Max, Kuga. Actually had no chance to see MPS6 on any of models for North America, so not sure if it is used there at all.

Hello, I have a MK2 Kuga 2l Powershift DCT450.
I would be interested in trying the software.
Cheers, Keith.

Clutch system learn. Mondeo MK4 Powershift 6DCT450.
I tried the test and was surprised. Previously, the gearbox changed poorly up and down with small gears. Now, after a small test drive, everything has been softer than it should be. The test ( forscan ) was frightening but at least initially excited about that.

Hi
What really means tcm module reset. Does the function reset the learned values?

Re: Testing learning functions for Powershift 6DCT450 (MPS6)
i would try it cant hurt as long as you follow the instructions , if it doesnt then i would start suspecting something mechanical or a fault with the anti wheel spin / anti locking sytem , not sure what its called or if it uses the same system to detect when the wheel looses grip , would suspect it does but dont know for sure sorry .
i am the same as you just a forscan user still learning .
The search function is there for a reason use it.
no you can no longer pm me with your 1 or 0 posts so dont try.
