No audio from phone calls-sync1 2017 Fusion

2017 Fusion, Sync I. Android phone connects fine through Bluetooth. Audio music and notifications play through the system from phone, voice commands work, however when I receive and answer a call through the system, other party can hear me talking, but I cannot hear them. Volume up or down nothing. I have to hit the "privacy" button and listen through the phone. I've been through the menus looking for a mute...nothing. Any help anyone can give me?

I did some wiring diagnostics, and all the audio connections between the sync module and the audio module are good. I am realizing that I'm not getting any voice notifications from the sync system. It won't read texts, confirm actions, or pass through telephone calls, or my answering system, however Bluetooth music, and books come through just fine. Does anyone know Ford's logic for the sync system? When a call comes in the audio is totally dead, no hiss or any indication that it's trying to pass audio through.

check cars settings make sure do not disturb is not on .

I have sync1. Can't find a "do not disturb" setting. My system allows incoming calls, allows me to answer them, but I have to hit the "Privacy" button to hear the other party through the phone directly.

Try answering the call through the sync and adjust the volume by using the phone volume buttons

Volume on phone or on system is up and there is no sound, not even a hiss.

I fixed the problem. I had replaced the ACM from a wrecker and of course it was programmed for the vin it came out of. I downloaded my as-built code, loaded it into my ACM and WALA! I can hear audio from my phone!!! I also changed the code in my ACIM module which was also from a wercker. This software has saved me a mint. Thanks FORScan!

I am having the same problem after installing an ACM from a wrecker after my ACM died. I’m new to FORscan. How do I get the ACM code from my as built data to put into my replacement ACM. Like your problem, I can make calls and they hear me but I can’t hear them. Also, when I press the Command button on my steering wheel I do not get the voice prompt from Sync but Sync hears me and follows my commands. Thanks in advance for the help.
