Odometer Write

Post by drummerdave »

Per the changes history, it appears that Odometer Write is now an option:

2.3.20 beta, 2019-02-08 (download)

+ Vehicle database update
+ Configuration and Programming function "Odometer write" (can only increase mileage!) for :

F-150 2015-2019 model years
F-Series 2017-2019 model years
Mustang 2015-2019 model years

I purchased an upgraded Instrument cluster for my 2018 F-150 (the 4" screen vs the 2" that I currently have), and want to program the odometer (raise the mileage on the cluster) to match the truck.
I cannot find any documentation anywhere on how to accomplish that.

Does anyone know how that is done, or can point me to any documentation where I might find it?

Im pretty sure the software is designed to be unable to rollback millage regardless of reasons for legal purposes. I am not 100% on that. You could contact your local dealer and they might be generous and correct for free. Worth a phone call to ask

Connect to Forscan and check all the modules and menus.

You can also send the cluster to a company that will make the change. Google search will show many options.

Anyone from Forscan with ETA? Looking for availability of odometer forward write function for 11-14 Mustangs.
The cluster swap is a popular upgrade in these models.

I programmed a used instrument cluster for my 2003 F350 today with as-built data from the motocraft site and it worked. Now I was curious if the program has a way to write the miles, need to add about 130k more miles to the new cluster. I am assuming since I cannot find an option it does not exist?
