Learned Relative Octane Adjust

Post by millinnium »

Hi there,

Anyone know what is the readout range for Learned Relative Octane Adjust for a Ford Focus 2011 (LW) GDI 2.0l? e.g. Is it 0%-100% or -100% to 100%? Is it the same for all vehicles or it is specific to different models?

Also, does anyone know how to interpret the values? e.g. Would 0% mean that the petrol octane pumped is equal to the car's required specification for petrol octane level.

This PID is available on new Ford and Lincoln models of 2010-2015 model years with newest gasoline engines, including HEV models. Range of available values is -200...200%. We are not sure about exact algorithm for this PID, but logically 0% should mean no correction.
