Without it supporting both HS and MS-Can you will only get a few modules and not all of them. Forscan is built to cover a number of possibilities and different options so always worth making sure you have the right option selected for the OBD Reader

i bought usb adapter with ms/hs switch, it can read all my ford focus modules, but whenever i tried programming modules its always throw message " service procedure is interrupted ". could it be because of bad clone adapter ? if i buy vcm2 adapter, will it work with forscan ?

I'm having troubles to connect ELM327 v1.5 adapter with Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 110kW.

FORScan connects with the adapter but doesn't with the car.

I have access to the car with ScanMaster-ELM program (Version 2.1, Build: 771).

I am trying to follow this guide to enable Navigation in Sync2 software (I need to change value in APIM Module. Will I need extended licence for that?).

Does anybody have any suggestions or should I buy the same adapter as it is in the guide?

Can someone please confirm that will this adpater from the guide actualy work or do you suggests different adapter.

I don't want to buy second non compatible adapter.

I bought this one for $19, and it has good reviews. I didn't know about the issues and hadn't checked the boards until now.

The issue I'm having is it won't show more than changing the language. I can check various things about the car, but this seems to be something that's missing. I'm not sure if it's the programming settings or the device. I'll have to check the first details listed in the original post. I also tried to see look up the door code, but it didn't show those options.

Hi, I have an XTYDIAG Chinese clone that works perfectly while I don't have an extended license. When placing the extended license, stop reading DTC. Shouldn't it be the same with or without a license?

When I plug it in my 2019 F150, the following alarms pop up on my dash display: power train malfunction, restraints indicator lamp warning, electronic power steering fault, pre-collision assist not available, anti-lock break fault. And then I get some more errors on my touch screen such as: 911 call assist not available, and some others.

I haven't even changed anything and cant get it to connect to forscan. I'm assuming this is a result of a bad ELM327?

looking for flash for STN1170 with ftdi chip ELS27 based unit no forscan without a rev 4.2.x or above

I get to point of flashing the stn1170 but it wont flash it hooks up states valid rom and version 3.x.x but wont flash the device so I assume the windows shortcut might need a command line modification or switch ….anyone have the list of commands for the util or a dos util that will work to flash the stn …...they might be having a problem with clearing the go for the flash process like /u

At end I can use forscan but just for specifics modules
