EGR/Pressure/Injector ? (P2458 Mazda 3 Y6)

Hello Forscan !

I've resolved the DTC 2409 there is one week. It was the FUEL-FILLER SWITCH who is a little bit failing when the magnet is coming to him. The magnet don't cover all the surface of the fuel filler switch, i've inspected all the wires who goes to the fuel additive module under the rear seat and OK. I've add a new big magnet + the original and now the P2409 is no more there ! It was just about this small magnet ! I'll make a photo !
My cousin get the same code and don't have any problem with is regen. I was thinking like you about the magnet who block the Eolys for the regen and just after solving I was filling the fuel tank and as in the picture above I saw the "ADD_PUMP" working during 5 seconds. I've made a scan yesterday and no more P2409 !



About the "FILLER_CAP" i've saw his moving during some seconds too (i'll watch my live data that i've register). Do you think that i must use again the FACM refill ?

EDIT : I've test today my injectors with the "gasoil return" for see if there is one give more or less than the others. But nothing special, everything looks good.

So no P2409 anymore but still P2458? This is strange then. If static regeneration is performed successfully, there should be no reason for a failure while the vehicle is driven. We would suggest to run static regen after resolving P2409, make sure no any FACM or PCM codes appear after it, then drive and check if everything is OK.

Have you solved that problem yet? I'm encountering the same problem lately. My car starts to regenerate every 30 km, but it throws P2458 code.
