Re: Helpful links on As Built configuration and programming
I have a 2011 expedition. Scanned it and BCM module doesn't show up. Am I not looking at the spot? I was able to enable daytime running lights. Also thought I fixed hyperflash due to LED Turn signals, they blink normal without the lights turned on, but if I turn parking or head lights on they will hyperflash. Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks
Thanks

Hello
Does anyone have any codes for a 2020 Explorer?
Specifically looking to:
- Disable the Auto Start Stop
- Enable ‘Bambi’ mode.
Thank you for all the help.

Re: Helpful links on As Built configuration and programming
Go to BdyCM As Built scroll down to 726-48-02 change in the first places from x1xx to x0xx. Write changes. Then go into FCIM Configuration and scroll down to "Start /Stop Button Disable" Change Enabled to Disable. Write changes. The go to IPC Configuration scroll down to "Auto Engine Shutdown With Memory" Enable to Disable. This last step is optional, as all it does is shows, is when you start the engine it briefly shows the icon that the system is turned off.
There is probably a function in BdyCM Configuration that controls the 726-48-2 code. I was lazy since I knew the actual code.
FYI the Modules that are Labelled "AS BUILT" contain the actual computer code to control the actions, (hyperflash, TPMS, Bambi Mode, Start/stop, etc). Modules labeled "Configuration" represent how YOUR VEHICLE (Year, Make, Model, Engine ,etc) was originally configured from the factory . The main Modules you will want to change configurations on are "BdcyCM" Configuration, "IPC Configuration", and "FCIM Configuration". My suggestion is that before you go in to directly change the computer code (As built) check out the Configuration list and see if you can just change "Enable to Disable" or "Disable to Enable". Now all the Configurations listed may not be available for change on YOUR VEHICLE, for example you cannot enable, "Fog Lights With High Beams" if the car does not have fog lights.
Hope this helps.

Here is the list from the forum

I did disable the double honk if you leave the car running with the key on my 2020 explorer xlt.
I've been comparing other ford models vs the 2020 explorer and some configs seem about the same and many look different for making changes. The f150 crowd sure has flushed out their configs! I was able to find/document/generate as built files and window stickers for almost every configuration of the 2020 explorer XLT, and using some of the tools can do compares etc. But is it honestly just trial and error figuring these out? or does the ID for the module/config stay pretty similar between models? ie. 726-48-02 is the same setting on f150 vs ranger etc.jejuda wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2020 3:01 pm Go to BdyCM As Built scroll down to 726-48-02 change in the first places from x1xx to x0xx.
