Yes. Even with OBDLink EX the Flashing could fail and cause the modules to stop working.

Also please note firmware update function requires good quiality fast wired adapter.

Could you give an advice, how can I test my adapter is good before I try updating?
I have an usb ELM327 ( ftdi. ) and a good quality VCM2.

Obdlink ex should be an okay one..

Can I get access on beta version. Guy in my area has VCM 2 and I think there will be no problem while updating firmware on my PAM Module.
