ok, for me 2.4.2 started to show available firmware for APIM.
one question I have. As you can see on the screenshot below - I have only calibration level is available - all others are showing "red" colour + not supported. Is it fine for me to go and update?

Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work
I finally sent in my debug info as well, so hopefully that will assist in finding and resolving this issue.
A few things I saw in the logs that were interesting:
In the firmware update log window, when starting the APIM Firmware Update procedure, I see:
"Module firmware update has been started
Reading vehicle info...
Unable to read current firmware p/n, use assembly p/n: GB5T-14G379-BA"
I also saw this in the logs, although the time stamp doesn't match the message above so I'm not sure what module update it refers to:
"2020-09-10 15:07:13.797 [GUI WorkThread] Downloaded file HS7T-14C591-AA is wrong, let's try again

According to the SYNC Bezel Diagnostics / APIM / IVSU Versions test menu pictures I took before I updated to CyanLabs SYNC 3.4, here are the part numbers of...something SYNC related?
JR3T-14G381-AS 3.0.19205_PRODUCT

JR3T-14G432-BB 3.0.19080_PRODUCT(followed by hash)
Hopefully this information will be of some help to the troubleshooting process! I also shared it with the FORScan team when I emailed them.

Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work
Cezarg which version of 3.4 are you on mine is 190021 and it doesn't bring up files only blank boxes. If i want to try manually how do I know which files to use ?
Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work

Firmware programming is not yet available for modules older than 2010MY as per release notes for 2.4.1 here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14885#p51588. Read Bullet point two!paddy2204 wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:12 pm hi can anyone tell me how to get that tab up, as i cant find the update part anywhere thanks
I have the programming tab in my wife's 2010 Fusion 3.0L but no programming tab in my 2003 Expedition EB or my 2005 F150 XLT
Programming for 200XMY's is being worked on and apparently planned for future releases!
Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work
Guys i updated ACM and APIM, first APIM, the sound system was still fine then, after that i updated the ACM to a version that was different than my version, but all was green, and i made sure what my version was, all of them, anyhow the update ruined sound, i updated them back to the original version, all of them, still nothing.
TL;DR
After ACM update Volume shows 0 only. Sound is so low. Coming from central console speaker only. Screen is Sync3 2018, but updated to CyanLabs V3.4
What i tried:
- Reverting versions to prior updates.
- Resetting Module.
- Clearing CEL codes.
UPDATE:
It was loading AB files
it's all fixed now !

Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work
@Halda I had originally Sync 3.0. Now i have 3.4 20136 - the newest one.
@2B-4G10 what do You exactly mean by "is was loading ab files"? How did You fix that?
I still didnt do APIM/ACM update because i am not sure about my ELM. Which adapter did You use to update firmware?

(Maybe FORScan Mods can add an automatic feature to re-write AB after firmware updates directly in the future?)
i use the OBDLink cable with latest firmware 5.5.3 Never had a problem with their cable, and everything i messed-up the guys @Support helped me fix perfectly!
Re: 2.4.1 - APIM Firmware update doesn't work
I had same issue. After change to Custom, I can't select any file for program too.
Had sent email with debug information to FORScan team.
