First of all, thank you very much for including new service procedures for the Mazda CX-7.
In the page of "change history" http://forscan.org/download.html, the new version of the application forscan (2.1.19) indicates that for car Mazda CX-7, in this new version, we have included four new service procedures, which are:
- DPF static Regeneration
- Reset the Diesel Particulate Filter Learned Values
- DPF Assessment
- Injector calibration
But after installing and running the forscan application really service procedure "Reset the Diesel Particulate Filter Learned Values" is not displayed for the CX-7 and appears one not shown in the page "change history", and is as follows:
- "Differential Pressure Sensor Reset Learned Values"
Where is the error on page "Change history" or forscan application?
A greeting and thank you very much for your effort.

You are right, it is a typo on the change history page.
By the way, Mazda CX-7 has DPF reset too, but it is more complex than other procedures of this type because it works not only with PCM but also with SCR. So it required an additional time for implementation and we had no this time at that moment.

OK. I just checked the "change history" page and I've seen that has just been updated .... perfect.FORScan wrote:You are right, it is a typo on the change history page.
I thought the DPF is controlled only by the PCM module. I have understood that the SCR module is used for the reduction of NOx in exhaust gases, through the injection of AdBlue. For this reason I thought they were two separate modules as they are two different functions.FORScan wrote:By the way, Mazda CX-7 has DPF reset too, but it is more complex than other procedures of this type because it works not only with PCM but also with SCR. The procedure "Reset DPF learned values" ... able to implement it in version 2.1.20 or later?
Thanxs.

This is probably correct, these are 2 separate modules, but as far as we understand they are not completely independent because SCR must be informed about the fact of DPF data reset (that usually means a replacement of the DPF).carlus wrote: I thought the DPF is controlled only by the PCM module. We will try, carlus wrote: The procedure "Reset DPF learned values" ... able to implement it in version 2.1.20 or later?
