forscan 2.2.4 beta version resetting codes on transit

Hi I am wondering if you can help me on forscan 2.2.4 beta version.

I installed this software under xp and using the usb adapter pictured below.

The software finds com5 ok then opens establishes contact with the pcm.

The vehicle is our ford transit 2000 MK5 diesel.

The software creates a profile for the ford 2.5 EPIC motor.

It reads the diagnosic codes ok and logs them.

However when I try and reset the codes they do not clear.

To prove the point I removed the connector the turbo boost monitor. The software logged the failure on test of the hi and low boost values and logged the failure of turbo boost.
Restoring the connector and trying to reset the codes, they are still present on restart of the engine and reset within the the software. The resetting doesnt clear the corrected codes.

Also there are no tests to be run in the test section.
