Dtc Abs U0155:00-2F Help me

Post by darkraf »

Hi I have a problem with my ford focus active 2021 1.5 tdci 120cv. In practice I have this dtc as in the picture that I can not delete. I tried to disconnect the battery for a few hours and nothing, I tried the reset of the Abs module and nothing, I tried to load the original As built and nothing. Can anyone help me kindly? I don't even know whether to switch to Ford and what an excuse to find to have her hospitalized. I have no spy. A thousand thanks

Translating your screen to English would make it easier to help you!

That U code is telling you that there is a communication loss between the ABS module and the Instrument cluster, It is also saying that the code is present at time of request(Meaning it is continuous and or permanent until the malfunction is repaired) and the the MIL light in the instrument cluster is illuminated (Literally from your screen"Fault light on for this DTC").

Don't poke around in this any more than you have already, as that will give the dealer an excuse to charge you for the Diagnosis and repair!

This car is under warranty and the MIL light being on is enough to be taking this car to the Dealer for this code! Take it to the Dealer and tell them your MIL(Wrench light, Malfunction light etc.) is on and needs to be scanned, diagnosed and repaired!!

Hope That Helps?

hello in the meantime, thank you for your reply. The problem is that on the dashboard I don't have any lights on and I only notice it when I connect from forscan. I had thought of bringing it back to the dealership saying that every now and then the abs light comes on to induce them to make a diagnosis and check the problem, and if necessary fix it. Thanks again

That you have no IPC warning lights or display indication is a malfunction in itself as the code you posted is saying "Fault light on for this DTC" and probably is part of that lost ABS/IPC communication code so you could say that that your brakes are not operating correctly and you get an intermittent wrench light and ABS error. They should if they are a good service department, run a diagnostic scan and see that same error and set about tracking it down and repairing it!

hen I'll update you. I took the car to the ford for a warranty service and on that occasion I told him that every now and then the abs light comes on. They found the trouble code and kept the car there for two days to diagnose. They returned the car to me and told me that the "control unit" had been updated. The error is still present in forscan and does not go away. I had thought of buying the ucds software to try to solve it but apparently they of the ford succeed. Now I don't know with what excuse to bring it back there and leave it a few days and then withdraw it as before .. there is not even a technical bulletin, the only one related to this error is from the ford ecosport of August 2021, but I would not like that later the car does not pass it to me under warranty if I tell them that I found the error through forsca. A thousand thanks

Does your ABS work? I keep seeing these posts about a DTC regarding the ABS and have never run across a resolution that successfully removes the DTC. Had it on my Lincoln MKC for over five years and all during that time the ABS functioned as it should, so I stopped worrying about the DTC. Probably some glitch that doesn't need all the attention it's getting. It seems like when you start your vehicle then the ABS is able to function normally.

guys, after so many attempts today during the service, the Ford technicians canceled this blessed mistake for me. I just told them that every now and then the yellow key on the dashboard came on and I don't know how they did it and canceled it. thanks everyone for the support

Hello everyone. I'd like to bring this up again since I haven't found a solution yet. Other than what the author wrote, I'm not sure.

I own a 2021 Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost. Everything runs fine, I don't see anything obvious, but I get an error when connecting Forscan: ABS U0155:00-2F.

I can personally say that I tried updating the ABS unit with available firmware, having made a backup copy of the ABS configuration:
1. Part number: NX61-2C219-CA (factory)

2. Calibration level: NX61-2C219-CA (factory) -> NX61-2C219-CE (new)

3. Hardware number: NX61-14F0165-CA (factory) -> NX61-14F0165-CB (new)

4. Secondary bootloader: NX61-2D052-AA

5. F188 strategy: NX61-2D053-CA (factory) -> NX61-2D053-CE (new)

6. ECU F10A: NX61-14C602-CA (factory) -> NX61-14C602-CE (new)

Forscan suggested a new update.

The update was successful, I uploaded the configuration, and everything was fine (or so I thought). The ABS U0155:00-2F error disappeared.

I drove it for a while and everything was fine. But one day, I accidentally pressed the TCS disable button, and the icon on the IPC didn't light up, so the button stopped working. I checked the error messages, but there were none. I decided to roll back the update.

The rollback was successful, the configuration was restored, the TCS button worked again, but the ABS U0155:00-2F error returned.
This gives me some thoughts.

Just ignoring it, as many say, isn't my option.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I'd be extremely grateful.

A lot of times Ford will update a module & also update another one or more so they all "talk" to each other properly.
They call it a co-ordinated flash
I would see if there's an update for other modules as well, having modules at different levels of updates can cause the problem you are having

Thanks for the reply. But updating all the blocks one by one is a bad idea. It risks desynchronization and subsequent inability to launch.
