How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
I have a European C-max from 2013 but I don't have the module described in the guide.
Maybe I should use another matching module?
Thanks

Not yet, but I have been informed that FEPS PCM programming capability is being worked on(The PCM contains the Gear ratio/Tire size programming selections)!shine wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 1:42 pm can this software be used to correct tire size on 2005 f150 ? dropped to 32 in tires from 35 in tires and speedo is 10 miles fast .

Afraid, at present, it is IDS and a Ford VCM2(Have done this same procedure on my 05 this way) or Ford FJDS and an FEPS capable J2534 adapter!
Sorry!

Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
i cant believe how hard this is . i've talked to 3 dealers and none will do this. called 2 different shops doing lift kits and such and they cant do it . waiting to hear from Hypertech to make sure their programmer will work .
according to hypertech the #3300 programmer is what is needed for the 2005 f150 . be here next week so i will let you know .

Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
Hi all,
My 2015 Ford F150 has a 6" lift kit and I upgraded my tires to the Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x12.50R20 about 2 years ago. When I connected the OBD-II reader into my truck and read the relevant module, I noticed that the tire circumference was set to 2462mm (97"). My Nitto tires have a circumference of 2791mm (110").
That said, my speedometer would indicate that I was going 6 MP/H under my actual speed. I updated the circumference to match my new tires circumference but my speedometer was still off by 5 MP/H.
Furthermore, I have not been able to get the speedometer 100% aligned with my actual speed but I am just 2 MP/H away from getting them to match.
My question is, does anyone know if there is another component to getting the speedometer to match my actual speed without falsifying my tire circumference because as I had mentioned earlier, my Nitto circumference (new) is 2791mm but I have had to reduce it to 2725mm to get it closer?
Am I missing something?

Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
I have a Bronco Sport. Finally able to write changes to the BCM with v2.3.44, but I do not have the options to relearn the PCM and TCM (or AWD) systems. I get a 4WD Fault error after changing the tire size. Reverting it back and clearing the DTCs got rid of the error.
Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
the hypertech worked great . i was able to set the tire size and also the gear ratio which had been changed . also firmed up the shift points . worth the money for price as i found no one around here to do it .

Re: How to use FORScan to adjust tire size
Hello I am trying to adjust for tire size on my 2021 expedition xl stx but the forscan I installed from the forscan website but does not have the bcm configuration listed, only as built is listed. I have tried to find a spreadsheet for my expedition but am not having much luck. Is it just too new or am I missing something.
