Greetings everyone,
I own a Ford Focus MK4 1.0 EcoBoost 125 and have recently attempted to enable the Software Engine Sound Enhancement feature through FORScan. Unfortunately, enabling that option in the ACM Module configuration doesn't seem to work.
My question is: is this feature is hardware dependent, meaning that my car might not be compatible at all, or does it need a more in-depth configuration such as ASBUILT coding and so on? I know that the new MHEV models have this feature, at least the 155 variant.
I would really appreciate some insight if anyone has successfully enabled this feature or knows if it is at all possible to do so.
Cheers.

Does it work if you drive in sports mode?

doesn't this feature require a module in the boot of the car; I remember something about it on Focus RS' the quick way to turn it off was unplugging a module could be wrong
