I appreciate you at least recognizing this forum topic and addressing it. I will have to move away from FORscan for the moment. Hopefully you guys get the opportunity to get such a great feature operational soon.

Forscan typical sees devices like ELM which only use CAN bus which isnt capable of doing those things. To get the cylinder balance test or relative compression you need an adapter that does J2534 such as a VCM2 but if you have that device you would be using Ford IDS to do those tests anyway. Regardless though its very impressive what forscan manages to be able to access and use just with the CAN bus alone.

Long story short if you want to be able to get the power balance test and relative compression test as well as programming abilities go buy a VCM 2 clone that has 2 boards. Costs about 200 bucks. GL

FORScan wrote: Fri Mar 31, 2023 8:11 am We are sorry, but at this moment FORScan doesn't implement the Ford Cylinder Contribution/Power Balance test. This is quite complex graphical test that requires fast adapter (ELM327 will not work, at least not majority of it). At the moment when we had an ability to implement that test, adapters like OBDLink EX/MX+ or vLinker FS were not available, so it didn't make sense to spend time for the test. Now it is a big problem to dedicate an enough timeframe for this task as there are more priority issues in the development queue. And yes, if you ultimately need this test, you have to use another software. We are sorry for any inconvenience. We are hopeful to get a chance to implement it in the near future.
I would really like to see this feature added as well and can provide or help with any info that is needed to get this implemented.
