Subject TL;DR here.
Got my spare IPC hooked up on the bench appropriately with a solid 12v supply and the MS-CAN pins bridged directly from the IPC to the OBDLink EX adapter. I'm able to get Forscan to see it ok. However when trying to initiate the firmware upgrade procedure it keeps asking me to turn on the ignition which is obviously not possible.
Since doing this out of the vehicle is required for the C-Max and this process has been documented here already, is there any way to bypass the ignition on requirement that I may be missing?
