Thanks for the instruction, worked perfect for Ventura. I skipped points 4 and 5.

If you have an intel based MacOS you can use bootcamp to install windows 10/11 on another partition and prevent the slowdown of the virtual aspect of windows. A macs hardware will run windows better than most window based machines as a stand alone dual boot.
This is a great write up for those looking to run it as a virtual platform tho id be weary of attempting to flash any modules, esp with an elm 327 device, which usually dont work at all out the box on flashing firmware.
Ive successfully used forscan on both my macbook pros and macbook air by dual booting windows 10/11 including flashing firmwares using my VGate usb-obdii adaptor and a usb a to c (thunderbolt compatible) adapter.
I now have a standalone windows 11 device i built that has the usb a ports on it, mainly bc the reliability of the thunderbolt ports are terrible and the whole design of the usb-c is flawed by design, its just a matter of time til the we have a usb x cable that pattens should be bought from apples lighting cord design and likely it would last for eternity theoretically. And be much more capable and lightyears ahead in durability bc it isnt a hybrid male-female design its strictly a male and requires a female port, where C requires a 4-some male-female to female-male port. thats my opinion on the tech and how it should be improved, all 4 of my thunderbolt ports are broken on my $2700 macbook, out of warranty, and im easy on my machines so i can no longer use forscan bc of those ports being squirelly.
Thanks for taking time and sharing this its going to make alot of ppl lives easier who dont own windows machines, kudos!

I have a lifetime license and recently switched from PC to Mac with M3 chip. I am having problems like most. Specifically, I was able to get FORScan running with very strict emulation. Changed to safe emulation and FORScan doesn't open. Also, when I had FORScan app open, I could not get it to recognize OBDLink EX. Pretty sure I have moved the drivers in the correct C:Drive Parallels folder but no connection. Most here are working with M1 or M2 chips. Any success with M3?

Can my friend send me a private message with your lifetime license?

Lifetime licences don't get shared & usually only scammers ask for them to be shared.guangzhouhuakai wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2025 2:40 am Can my friend send me a private message with your lifetime license?
