I'm trying to understand something regarding missing blocks.

If i want to configure an option that i've added manually to the truck, and that everything is wired as it should. How can i get forscan to detect that, or to enable that specific function?

I'm comfortable with messing around As built so that's ok.

Thanks ahead

I went to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/asbuilt and downloaded the as built files for my VIN number.

Went into Forscan to restore some factory settings for some modules (APIM, BCM, IPC) and pretty much everything was OK, no errors/warnings, however I went further to test other modules (PCM) and I received an error saying that "number of blocks in file and module doesn't match", all using the *.ab file from https://www.motorcraftservice.com/asbuilt

Compared the as built configuration from motorcraftservice.com and exported the existing one from the car using Forscan and compared them using http://www.compulsivecode.com/Project_A ... mpare.aspx ; there were a number of extra blocks.

Any thoughts why?

@Admin I have a copy of the Taurus AsBuilt modifications
The permissions that I set might not of let folks in - I believe that has been addressed. PM me only if you can't still access. DO NOT PM for Forscan usage. I would like those with the Taurus platform to still have access.

Thanks @Admin for sharing on thread links.
