which Bluetooth adaper is best

as it say all whith is best i have a vagate Bluetooth 4.0 but will not work with FORScan light for some reason so its going back

Android or IOS? I use the Vgate vLinker FD with Android. No problems at all. IOS, I have no idea.

works on the laptop on Bluetooth but not recognised on android with forscan light or do i have to use a different app

All I can tell you is that the Vgate vLinker FD works fine with FORScan Lite on my phones with Android 6, 9, 10 and 12. On a cold boot it takes about 1 minute for everything to settle and be able to connect.
