ELM 327 extra fake

Hi fellas.I bought a ELM 327 1.5A USB (They say).I tried to connect it to my Focus 1 but no luck.It keeps pushing me out.Either that is a bad clone (new version) either turn on ignition(Older versions).I tried several commands like ATZ or ATI.Nothing happens.Is there anything i can do?I have some comfort functions that need to be deactivated.

We are afraid you will not be able to make this adapter work with FORScan and other software that users service level protocols. You can however try to use it with software that uses OBDII protocol (Scanmaster etc), the adapter may be able to work with those

I tried to use Scanmasters and i get error 99001.Related or it's something that i do wrong and doesn't allow me to use Forscan.
