Re: This Idiot Broke Something!
Not sure what you mean by "Missing mostly.... Everything" as all the modules this vehicle left the factory with are listed and identified by their hexidecimal AsBuilt address! Ford has been listing all modules under the "BCE" or Body Control Electronic Modules, including the PCM(Hex address 7E0) for some time! My suspicion, as a guess, is to save web space.BeardedNRG wrote: Wed Feb 28, 2024 7:47 am Module Build Data (As-Built)

I downloaded the AsBuilt for a 2023 Explorer and printed the web page to a PDF file and paper copy and it totalled 37 full two sided pages of data!
What I see in your image post and in the down load for your VIN that I downloaded is quite typical of the small number of AsBuilt listed modules from 2008 to about 2013! There just is no longer any headings separating and naming the Modules(BCE) on a growing number of AsBuilt file results from the AsBuilt server at Ford!
Here is a list of the module addresses and the module names in your image!
:7E0 PCM Power Train Control Module
:720 IPC Instrument Panel Cluster Module(Contains VIN in Hex code at 720-15-01)
:726 BCM Body Control Module
:727 ACM Audio Control Module
:737 RCM Restraints Control Module (Contains VIN in hex at 737-01-01)
The PCM in these years was in most cases configured in PCM firmware(VIN ID Block requiring FORScan 2.4.10 and an FEPS capable adapter in many cases) Only a small part was configured in AsBuilt!
Can't say for sure as it appears this a Ranger in the Euro market with a 3.2 litre diesel and the Calibration list Here in North America Motorcraftservice .com does not list any calibration files for that engine! Maybe someone( or a Dealer) with an IDS/FJDS subscription could look those up?
Going back to the beginning, it would be helpful to understand what is broken, how it got broken, what you where working on when this happened and what help you are looking for here! Your original post only shows the connection log from before the problem and does not offer much(actually nothing) about the what you say you managed to break some how!
More information would be helpful?

sucks but thats what u get when u dont backup enough things and fords website is a sack of potato's
Re: This Idiot Broke Something!
Hi,
The main question is still: On which module you did the Firmware update and how?
How can someone help, if nobody knows which module you maybe bricked or what you tried.
Updating firmware allways should be with a reason and not just for fun or because there is an update available.
Also would be interesting to know, what the error messages are after you updated the (..whatever) firmware.
The basics are here: https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=18751
Before updating any module, ALLWAYS save the AsBuilt Data and download the factory firmware and the new firmware to your computer.
Also do the SBL programming test, before finally update the firmware.
As it seems, that you could at least download the AsBuilt files from the Ford website, try to uplaod them to you modules.
More information would be suitable.
