Ford S-Max TPMS Disable

Hi Guys,


First time poster I am having issues with my TPMS sensors reporting a malfuntion and not reading from time to time.
I dont particulary care or need them so I was hoping to disable them.

Attached are the screenshots from the BodyCM & IPC modules.


Are the selected options in red the required sections that need to be disabled ?
It does mention in each section that there are section in each that require to be disabled but not specifics.

Has anybody done this ?


Any help is greatly appreciated.

Probably not overly helpful, but on my Tourneo connect I just disabled TPMS and it was fine.

I have disable and re-enabled TPMS on my S-max (MY2021) with Forscan.

What goes right:
* in BdyCM, disabling/enabling "TMPS Enable" ; I had wrong Mondeo sensors causing a fault ; by disabling no more error message

What goes wrong (but not critical):
* in IPC module, I have also tried to disable TPMS display ; despite the flag was disabled, some fake information was still displayed;
when I change the display flag (either enabling or disabling), language of my car switched to English (I'm French and my car comes from Germany!)
I put the language back to French with normal user infterface, and that's all.
My conclusion is you dont need to change anything in IPC module.

No I have right sensors (Schrader 2210, to be programmed specifically to the car without air pressure) and everything is back to normal.

Hi, I have bought wrong sensors for my smax 2016 - probably the ones used for example in focus mk3 - not sending the pressure values. So the car shows no error on every engine start but only every +-50km. I was wondering if there is any option to change the car behaviour to focus mk3 style, so the sensors are not completely useless.. If not I will disable tpms like I used to do every winter before:-D
