Hi
New here, having recently acquired a 2010 Mazda BT 50, that has developed a key issue.
I purchased a vLinker FS USB OBD2 scanner for Windows.
It arrived today and I followed instructions, downloaded a paid version of FORScan.
On connecting the device to the USB input on PC running Windows 10, I received an error message basically USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED.
I attempted to download drivers that had no affect.
I connected the device to an old Laptop running Windows 7, this the device was recognised but not drivers, I'll add later when I re connected it to network.
But mainly looking for some guidance on the windows 10 connectivity issue TIA
Cheers
Kappy

Re: vLinker FFS USB Scanner
If your laptop has only USB 3.0 port(s), the vLinker USB won't work with them as it's USB 2.0 only.
On my newest laptop that has only a USB 3.0 port, I have to use an external USB hub that has backward compatibility.
Surprised vLinker and Forscan hasn't addressed this, I've had mine for several years now and it's still a PITA.

Re: vLinker FFS USB Scanner
Both my Lenovos Laptops have USB3.0 (Blue) Ports and never had any Issue with the FS VLinker USB.
If you can´t fix it - don´t break it
