Support of J2534 (Pass-Thru) adapters in FORScan v2.2.*

There is another adapter used with FORScan. The original VCM I was tested and passed similar to:
CarDAQ Plus
CarDAQ Plus 2

i cant get the wireless to work with my vcm1. i have 3 of them and 2 teradyne cards too. do you have the wireless drivers/ teradyne software handy?

well, that was the installer i had. i get the message, IDS V78 must be installed.
when i used it on a laptop with IDS, i have gotten all the way to the creation of the adhoc network, picked a color, and all goes fine until it tries to connect to the vcm when the usb cable is no longer plugged in. it gives a could not connect error.

I have the original WiFi card, original OEM VCM I and mine works perfect.
As for your version IDS, it's as old as dirt. v104 or greater is advised.

Hí to all.

I have problem with device manager for VCM2 IDS Ford.
I cant install device software from official website, version 1.0.1.18
When I try install , message error occour.

" Could not use bundled JRE. Please send this log file to your software vendor "
can"t install j4

some help with this error ?
My PC is windows 10 x64

I have had issues like that before. A couple things that might work:
1. Compatibility mode (not likely the help in this case though)
2. Install as admin
3. Install an older vcm manager first.

If the VCM II is a clone, it may never connect to modern IDS applications.
If a new application for Device Manager is available, then the VCM II can be updated with the firmware.
The problems begin when IDS recognizes the VCM II firmware and an update will be required for IDS.
That will mean a subscription with Motorcraft.

If the VCM3 is used (Windows 10) then the new application with the Device Manager can access the VCM I.
That choice is built in because of the older protocols the VCM3 cannot perform.

If the VCM I is being used stand alone, then Windows 7 is required to operate the last version the VCM I can handle.
The VCM I is model year dependent. The VCM I can also connect to Mazda IDS and older Jag / Rover models that require IDS functionality.
The firmware will update itself into either application.

VCM I, VCM II and VCM 3 can be used as J2534 devices with FORScan - already proved it.

На Ford Explorer 2005 не могу прочитать блоки подушек, парктроника и комфорта через ELS27. У меня есть клон VCMII, дрова установлены в диспетчере устройств он отображается без ошибок. В настройках подключения FORScan выбираю адаптер J2534 Ford VCMII, при соединении с автомобилем запускается проверка VCMII и возникает ошибка программы, больше она не работает. После удаления и переустановки - все повторяется. Подскажите пожалуйста, в чем может быть проблема? Спасибо.
